Pickups

This project was created in 2018 when I was in community college. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the exact details of this project but the logo is heavily based on guitars. I combined the guitar pick and single coil pickups into one and named it “Pickups”. The original design was rough and messy as I was still getting used to Adobe Illustrator. During my time at California State University East Bay (CSUEB), I took a Bachelor of Fine Arts Critique to get some feedback from my colleagues and professor on how I can improve my logo. From there, I added the strings on top of the pickups, the gradient on the pick, and drop shadows. The feedback I received immensely improved my design and this became my favorite logo.
